Meet Andy Jassy who will replace billionaire Jeff Bezos as Amazon CEO

In a surprising development, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has announced that he will step down as the Chief Executive of the company he built from a startup into a multi-billion dollar firm. The new York Times reported that Bezos will transition to the role of executive chairman in the third quarter of 2021. Bezos will be replaced by Andy Jassy, CEO of Amazon Web Services, the company’s cloud computing business. It is to be noted that Bezos is the biggest shareholder of Amazon and he would continue to wield influence over the e-commerce major.
