We often send important information via text messages. While we usually type our text messages, there are times when you need to forward some information to your contacts via text messages. This is the reason we all should know how to forward text messages to another number. 

If you are using an Android device, forwarding text messages to another number can be relatively easier. Below we have explained this in easy steps.

How to forward text messages to another number in the Messages app on an Android phone

Step 1: Open the Messages app on an Android smartphone or any other device

Step 2: Tap to open the conversation that has the text message you want to forward.

Step 3: Select the text message.

Step 4: Click on three vertical dots that appear on the top-right corner of the screen of your Android device.

Step 5: Select the option of Forward.

Step 6: Type the name to select it from the list. Some users may have to click on 'new message' and then select the name from the contact list.

Step 7: Click on the send button to forward your text message.

It is to be noted that there is no way to show that the text message you sent was simply forwarded. If you wish to mention this, you can simply add it to the text message before clicking on send.
