Airtel 5G Plus: Telecom operator Bharti Airtel recently launched 5G services in India. According to the company, Airtel 5G Plus is now available in eight cities – Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur and Varanasi. Airtel 5G Plus will allow superfast access to high-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more, the company said.

- Download the Airtel Thanks app
- Open the Airtel Thanks app.
- Yow will see a banner for 5G Plus asking you to check if your phone is 5G enabled.
- Tap on that banner and it will open to a different page.
- Airtel will now check if you are in a 5G ready city
- If the 5G handset is 5G compatible and it has all the latest software update as well, the company will ask you to go to the Settings>Network page on your mobile and make sure that 5G is chosen as the preferred network.
- Once you follow the steps mentioned above, then you can expect the 5G network to work on your phone technically.
How you can activate the 5G network on your smartphone
Step 1: Go to the Settings menu on your phone.
Step 2: Click on Connections or Mobile Network option.
Step 3: Next, tap on Network mode and choose the 5G/4G/3G/2G option.
