Tozo S5 Smartwatch Review: The US-based smart gadgets manufacturer Tozo has launched its latest smartwatch in India, dubbed the Tozo S5 Smartwatch. The device comes in a sleek package containing the smartwatch, a charger with a magnetic end, and the strap. The USB adapter is not in the box; though a common smartphone charger can be used. In this review, we explore how the device fares among its contemporaries. 

Tozo S5 Smartwatch Review: The device weighs 61g, giving it a light feel. The straps appear to be made of silicone and have a lock mechanism to ensure they fit properly. The device comes with three strap colour options: Orange, Black, and Titanium Gray. 

Tozo S5 Smartwatch Review: With a 48mm metallic aluminium dial, the Tozo S5 Smartwatch features a 1.43″ Ultra High AMOLED display with a 466×466 pixels resolution. The bezels are significantly thin, and the screen is further enhanced by 336 PPI screen density. The display is bright enough even under direct sunlight, which is a good proposition in this segment. A round button is located on the right edge, enhancing the user experience. At the bottom, sensors are present, along with a magnetic area for charging functionality. The watch comes with IP68 certification, elevating its dust and water resistance. 

Tozo S5 Smartwatch Review: To set up the device, you need to switch it on by pressing and holding the round button.  The display will show the Tozo logo, followed by the option to connect with the TozoWear App. The App is compatible with both Apple and Android devices. Additionally, the smartwatch can also be connected to the phone using a QR code. The app will display a “+” symbol, followed by the smartphone searching for a device. Once the pairing request prompt appears, you are set to go.

With the Bluetooth call option integrated, users can directly make calls from the watch itself. It also shows notifications from different apps as well as SMS messages. The call quality is satisfactory, given the presence of the speaker and mic in the device, with the speaker located at the bottom.

The device allows users to integrate the device with the iOS Health app, offering sleep tracking and more. The watch faces are customisable, with multiple pre-loaded options available. The smartwatch also shows weather updates, and has a Raise to Wake feature, offering a premium feel. The Find My Phone feature helps track the smartphone, the Tozo Wear App can work the other way around, causing the smartphone to make noise. 

Tozo S5 Smartwatch Review: It packs a 300mAh battery, and the company claims it offers at least a week’s worth of backup, with a standby time of a whopping 30 days. Under a modest usage scenario, with low brightness mode, the device comfortably lasted for 6 days during our testing. It takes approximately two hours and thirty minutes to get fully charged.
