The Vivo V29 Pro comes 6.78-inch Full HD+ 3D curved display AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of 1,300 nits. It has thin bezels and offers a good viewing angle. Its display is sharp and dynamic with a good viewing experience.
Vivo V29 Pro Review: Performance
The Vivo V29 Pro is powered by MediaTek’s 4nm process-based Dimensity 8200 System on Chip (SoC). It is a capable chip to handle all your daily tasks easily. You run multiple apps simultaneously and even try your hands on games like Asphalt 9.
Vivo V29 Pro Review: Software
The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. While it offers decent personalisation options, it does come with bloatware as usual. The company is promising two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.
Vivo V29 Pro Review: Camera
Vivo V29 Pro comes with significant updates in terms of the camera over its predecessor but retains the rectangular module for the triple camera setup. It has a 50MP OIS Night camera with an IMX766 main sensor. The main sensor is accompanied by a 12MP portrait camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The aura light is not just brighter but also offers more tones now.

Vivo V29 Pro Review: Battery and Charging
The Vivo V29 Pro comes with a 4,600mAh battery. While this is the same as its predecessor, the charging speed has been increased to 80W from 66W. This is sufficient to last for an entire day in moderate usage. Also, you need something around 40 minutes to juice this device from zero to 100 per cent.
Vivo V29 Pro Review: Verdict
The Vivo V29 Pro is a good option for those who want a good combination of looks, performance and camera features. However, the absence of stereo speakers and just two years of Android updates can be a bit of a let-down for those spending so much on a smartphone.
