Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Some perfections, some trade-offs
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, further complemented by up to 8GB of RAM.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: After a successful launch of Vivo T3 5G earlier this year, Vivo has brought its latest smartphone in the sub-Rs. 30,000 segment (8GB/256GB version): the Vivo T3 Pro 5G. Dubbed as an allrounder device with almost all the bases covered, it boasts a sleek design, impressive battery life, and seamless performance. However, it does have some issues, particularly with low-light photography and a cluttered UI. In this review, we shall get a fair idea of its features and its standing in the segment.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Design
Weighing 184g and with a thickness of 7.49 mm, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G feels lightweight and sleek. The leather rear panel, along with the golden frame around the edges, gives it a luxurious outlook. The device feels grippy in the hands, offering a solid build quality. However, the curved screen has its quirks, which can lead to accidental touches near edges during prolonged usage. The device comes in two colour options, Sandstone Orange and Emerald Green, and features an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Display
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G features a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution. The thin bezels make it vibrant and lively. The display is extremely responsive, with a seamless refresh up to 120Hz, and is bright enough outdoors with a peak brightness that notches 4,500 nits. It is an excellent content viewing machine, with HDR10+ support and Widevine L1 certification. The colour reproduction is good, if not the best, while the contrast level is decent.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Performance and Software
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, further complemented by up to 8GB of RAM. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G handles intensive tasks without technical lags, performing day-to-day activities such as browsing social media, streaming content on YouTube or Netflix, capturing pictures, making videos, or playing games. It is a satisfactory multitasker and features a dedicated gaming mode, allowing users to check important notifications while playing. It runs on Funtouch OS based on Android 14.

The UI is smooth and user-friendly, with significant customisation options available. You get a responsive sidebar with navigable shortcuts. However, the UI experience is cluttered with notable bloatware. The device comes with a promise of two years of major software updates and an additional year of security patches.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Camera
The Vivo T3 Pro 5G boasts a dual camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The primary camera performs excellently well in daylight conditions, delivering pictures with near-natural colours, and good contrast, though sharpness seems to be taking the backseat. In low light, the primary sensor fails to impress with details taking a toll, resulting in blurry photos. The ultra-wide shooter provides good colours, but details suffer.

However, in daylight, the 8MP sensor offers manageable outputs in portrait mode. The 16MP selfie camera performs adequately well in well-lit conditions but struggles to capture details in dim setups.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Battery
The smartphone comes equipped with a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G comfortably lasts a day on a single charge under moderate usage conditions. It takes approximately 60 minutes to get fully charged.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Review: Verdict
Overall, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G ticks almost all the boxes expected from a sub-Rs 30,000 device. The performance is satisfactory, with a vibrant curved display and decent battery life. The build quality feels solid with a sleek profile and vegan leather finish. However, users seeking a minimalistic UI with a clean experience may remain apprehensive about the bloatware, and the low-light photography also leaves something to be desired.
