The Realme Watch S2 features a classic design with a circular stainless steel case measuring 1.43 inches (3.63 cm) in diameter. Weighing approximately 40 grams, the watch includes two physical buttons, one of which looks like a rotating crown; but isn't. It offers two strap options: a 22mm silica gel strap and a steel strap. The silica gel strap, which we got in the review unit, is adjustable between 150-230mm.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Display

The watch offers peak brightness of 600 nits, which makes it easy to use even under direct sunlight. With over a hundred watch faces available, spanning categories like sports, art, and classic, users can personalize their experience. The always-on display (AoD) feature comes with five faces. The watch’s interface is smooth and user-friendly, enhancing overall visual appeal.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Durability

The Realme Watch S2 is rated IP68, indicating resistance to dust and water up to 5 meters for 30 minutes. During a week of use, the watch demonstrated remarkable durability, with no visible scratches or damage despite occasional impacts. I experienced when it was drenched in heavy rainy weather; water droplets left stains on the strap, however, did not affect functionality which means it is truly waterproof.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Battery backup and charging

Equipped with a 380mAh battery, the Watch S2 lasted five days with AoD  turned on and under normal usage, as what the Realme claimed. The company also said that it can offer up to 38 days on standby mode and over two weeks with standard use. In terms of charging, it may take around an hour to juice it up completely.

Realme Watch S2 Review | AI assistant feature

One of the key features of the Watch S2 is its AI assistant. It performs well with tasks such as answering queries, however it does not provide real-time data/updates.

For instance, it accurately listed major IT companies in India, including TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, on the flip side it was unable to tell real-time updates/data such as weather or stock price. The microphone recognises my voice clearly and the sound output is loud, enhancing the overall AI experience.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Performance

The performance of the Watch S2 is commendable, with precise data tracking for steps and various exercises like running, walking, hiking, and swimming. It also includes features like a water intake reminder, sleep tracker, stress levels monitor and others common digital watch features, and smartphone controls for music, camera, calls, and locating your phone.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Price and colour availability

As of now, the Watch S2 is available at price of Rs 4,999 according to the company. It's available in two colours: Midnight Black, and Ocean Silver.

Realme Watch S2 Review | Verdict

The Realme Watch S2 is a solid choice for those seeking a health and fitness-focused smartwatch with a classic design and comprehensive features. However, I think the company could have provided a better strap considering the price of the smartwatch. Overall, the Watch S2 offers great value for its price with its robust feature set and performance along with AI assistant feature.
