Similar to the previously seen 12 series, it has a circular camera module. On the front, it sports a punch-hole design for the selfie sensor, along with noticeable bezels. Flaunting brushstroke design with rounded corners, the back panel is made up of polycarbonate material that furnishes a nice texture. The device is available in two colour variants- Peacock Green and Phoenix Red.

Realme P1 5G Review: Display

The Realme P1 5G boasts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a buttery smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It further offers a peak brightness extending to 2,000 nits, providing a superb prospect for outdoor experiences. It comes with an IP54 rating, a pleasant thing to have at this price range.

Additionally, the user experience is enhanced by introducing an algorithm that lets you use the screen even when it's wet or when your hands are wet. To add to it, this device does have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Realme P1 5G Review: Performance and Software

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, the Realme P1 5G ticks almost all the boxes when it comes to delivering day-to-day tasks. Multitasking with this device is seamless. Activities like browsing social media apps, snapping images and capturing videos, and undertaking gaming sessions, excluding graphically-intensive games, have been a breeze with this smartphone. Realme has prioritised performance over everything in this device and users will be able to feel it.

It comes with Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14, which appears appropriately tailored to the needs of this device. The animations are smooth, and RAM management has been on par with its mid-range contemporaries. The brand promises two years of Android updates and three years of Google updates.

Realme P1 5G Review: Camera

The camera module of Realme P1 5G encompasses a couple of rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel secondary monochrome camera. The 50MP sensor, practically speaking, does a decent job, capturing good enough photos for this price range. Under proper lighting conditions, the camera quality is undoubtedly efficient. Images maintain sharpness, displaying vibrant colours. The low light photography with this device is going to be a bit tricky, with photos ending up with noises and lacking detail. The 16MP selfie camera is a fairly good performer, capturing skin tone to satisfactory levels.

Realme P1 5G Review: Battery and Charging

The device packs a 5,000 mAh battery, buoyed by a 45W fast charging support. The Realme P1 5G gets fully charged in 60-65 minutes and that’s commendable. It easily gives a day’s worth of backup.

Realme P1 5G Review: Verdict

Frankly speaking, the Realme P1 5G is another mid-ranger that tries to offer everything in your budget. Having said that, it is also to be underscored that it competes efficiently in its segment. With a good battery life and seamless display, the device is worth considering for users seeking an all-rounder smartphone to be put under modest usage conditions.
