Realme GT 6T Review: In this review, we will consider the device’s worthiness and analyse how far it has gone in challenging the contemporaries already making rounds in the market.
Realme GT 6T Review: With a flurry of introductions already this year, Realme has arrived with another launch - Realme GT 6T. In what can be termed as creative disruption, the company seems to have introduced several segment-first kinds of specs, rendering it newness and a power-packed performance worth reckoning with. In this review, we will consider the device’s worthiness and analyse how far it has gone in challenging the contemporaries already making rounds in the market.
Realme GT 6T Review: Design
Featuring what the brand calls a ‘Nano Mirror Design’, specifically the mirror finish, the aesthetics of Realme GT 6T are soothing. Weighing just 191 grams and with a thickness of 8.65mm, it gives a sleek profile, enhanced by a dual-tone finish. The device’s premium look is a real traction point; however, finger smudges are things to be dealt with, given the basic glossy feel. The smartphone’s rear panel and frame are made of plastic. The phone is comfortable to hold, all thanks to the flatter edges that enhance grip.

At the back, there are three individual rings housing the camera module and the LED flashlight. Notably, the power button and volume lockers can be located on the right side of the device. The device is available in two colour options: Fluid Silver and Razor Green.
Realme GT 6T Review: Display
The Realme GT 6T has a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display with 6000 nits of peak brightness, further enhanced by a resolution of 2780X1264. It has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, effectively enabling a seamless multimedia experience. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Due to the minimum bezels, the display appears to pop out, making it one of the best display devices in this segment. Furthermore, the device offers a seamless content viewing experience, thanks to Dolby Vision support.
Realme GT 6T Review: Performance and Software
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, the Realme GT 6T is India’s first device to be equipped with this new SoC. The device handles day-to-day tasks with ease, managing multiple apps simultaneously. The device performs brilliantly with its quick-to-respond tendency even when multiple apps run in the background. Gaming can easily be explored on this device, delivering a consistent performance delivery at 45-55fps. Games like CoD mobile and BGMI, among others, run smoothly at high settings. The device runs on RealmeUI 5.0 based on Android 14. Well, quite Realme-ish is the presence of bloatware, along with advertisements in the search menu. Deal with it or delete, it all depends on the user’s preference. The interface, no doubt, is smooth with seamless transitions. The company promises 3 years of major Android updates and 4 years of security patches.
Realme GT 6T Review: Camera
Featuring a dual camera setup that includes a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, the camera prowess of the Realme GT 6T, particularly in daylight photography, is above average. At this price segment, the camera provides good details and vibrant colours nearing accuracy.

The AI effectively handles scene depth and subjects. When it comes to night photography, the results are satisfactory. The selfie shooter, a 32MP sensor, does the job for you capturing good portraits.
Realme GT 6T Review: Battery
The Realme GT 6T packs a dual-cell 5500 mAh battery, which comes with a 120W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology. In just 30 minutes, it fills the tank, providing a backup lasting almost a couple of days for moderate users.
Realme GT 6T Review: Verdict
This device is a powerful smartphone meant to cater to users looking for a robust performer. Another major talking point is its whooping 6,000 nits of peak brightness, which is indeed a game changer. The display is beautiful and perhaps the best part associated with this device, while performance is decent, handling games well. Nonetheless, the camera leaves room for improvement as it lacks versatility, and the design might not appear so luring, compared to how the previous GT series devices looked. However, if you are looking to change your device and want an all-rounder that ticks most of the boxes, the RealmeGT 6T is a device worth considering.
Realme GT 6T Review: Pros and Cons
Pros:
• Vibrant display with 6000 nits of brightness
• Brilliant battery with superfast charging
• Better performance with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset
Cons:
• Camera lacks versatility
• Plastic build quality for a flagship device
