Sporting a refined design, the Realme13 Pro+ has a glass back with metallic finish frames. The back is immune to fingerprint smudges and offers a premium feel in the palm. Typical to Realme, the camera module feels luxurious, with golden rims adding to the overall elegance of the smartphone. Featuring a dual-tone finish, the camera module has the ‘Hyperimage+’ text inscribed at the bottom. The edges are curved, appearing very much Realme-ish.

Realme 13 Pro+ Review: Performance and Software

The Realme13 Pro+, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, is available in three RAM/Internal Memory variants: 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The whole configuration makes it a capable processor if your day-to-day tasks include browsing social media, streaming content over OTT and YouTube, multitasking, a bit of gaming, or clicking photos. Nonetheless, when playing games with this smartphone, our experience has not been entirely buttery smooth, though there’s no denying the fact that the device can handle some of the games in medium graphic settings. The smartphone runs on Realme UI 5.0 atop Android 14. The UI is smooth and offers a variety of customisation options. There’s a barrage of pre-installed apps, the precise number running in dozens. It is equipped with some useful AI-enabled functionalities, including AI Ultra Clarity for image editing and AI Smart Loop, which come in handy for making recommendations by recognizing the user’s behaviour. The device comes with two years of software updates and three years of security patches.

Realme 13 Pro+ Review: Camera

Equipped with a triple camera setup, which houses a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope lens, and an 8MP ultrawide shooter, the Realme13 Pro+ is a decent camera smartphone. The camera outputs are commendable entailing vibrant colour, proper details, and a good dynamic range. Notably, the integration of Hyperimage+ technology, the brand claims, should be attributed to the device’s camera prowess, including natural colours, details, and satisfactory dynamic range. The periscope lens is also a decent performer, enabling the device to capture stunning portraits. Furthermore, the ultrawide lens is a capable sensor that operates with 3x optical zoom functionality, capturing images with clarity. The 32MP selfie shooter on the front provides quality selfies under well-lit setups, if not the best snaps.

Packing a 5,200mAh battery, the Realme 13 Pro+ has improved considerably in the power segment. Supported by 80W fast charging, the device takes almost 50 minutes to get fully charged from 0 to 100 per cent. The battery comfortably gives a day’s worth of backup in modest usage conditions.

The charger comes in the box, so you don’t have to spend extra bucks to get one.

The device sports a luxurious design, consistent with what Realme has been up to in recent times. It has a vibrant display with a lively and vivid outlook, appearing colourful and pleasant.
