The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone is available in three colour options - Submarine Blue, Navigator Beige, and Explorer Red. The device comes in three RAM and storage options - 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. They are priced at Rs 29,999, Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively.

The in-hand feel is soothing with the size being ideal - neither too large nor very compact. The vegan leather design on the back not only enhances the look of the smartphone but also provides a firm grip. It also makes the device fingerprint and smudge-resistant. Also, the smartphone has been designed by Realme Design Studio in collaboration with master watchmaker Ollivier Saveo. The design looks premium and the huge circular camera module with 300 precisely crafted metal lines gives it a luxury watch-level texture. bring a touch of luxury craftsmanship to smartphones.

Realme 12 Pro+ Review: Performance and Software
The smartphone is powered by Qulcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The Dynamic RAM feature adds flexibility for the memory expansion, allowing it to extend up to 24GB by using unused internal storage. The gaming performance is satisfactory as 60 FPS games, such as COD Mobile, PUBG and BGMI can run smoothly on medium settings.

It comes with Realme UI 5.0 which is based on Android 14 and has the scope of 2-year major updates and 3-year security updates. Despite the Realme UI being improved, bloatware and third-party apps remain a common phenomenon. However, the improvement is palpable when it comes to dark patterns vis-à-vis the predecessor, Realme 11 Pro+.
Realme 12 Pro+ Review: Camera
It has a primary sensor of 50 megapixels supported by Sony IMX 890 with OIS, a periscope sensor having a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3X optical zoom, a rare offer in this price range, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
The camera setup is very functional as the colours are accurate and vibrant. Nonetheless, colours do appear to be shifting when it comes to the ultrawide sensor. The camera adeptly captures depth, clarity, and natural colours in daylight and delivers clear and consistent images without the need for night mode in low-light conditions.
For selfies, it has a 32MP front-facing camera that does a decent job.
Realme 12 Pro+ Review: Battery and Charging
The device is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery having 67W SuperVOOC charging support. On a single charge, the smartphone can last for an entire day in standard usage. Also, the smartphone can be juiced up from zero to 100 per cent in less than an hour.
Realme 12 Pro+ Review: Verdict
The Realme 12 Pro+ is for those who want a smartphone with a premium design. Also, the smartphone has a good camera and overall performance is satisfactory. However, there is still bloatware in the device. If you can ignore it, Realme 12 Pro+ would be worth every penny.
