Realme 11 Pro+ review: Curvy competitor with flagship features in sub-30,000 price range
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Realme is back with another smartphone that looks much more premium than its competitors in the price range. Realme 11 Pro+, priced at Rs 29,999 (for Rs 12GB and 256GB variant), is the latest offering by the smartphone manufacturer and comes with specs that are usually available in flagship phones. But do these specs and features make it worth the price? Find out in our detailed review.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Design
Design is one of the clear differentiating factors that helps Realme 11 Pro+ stand out from its competitors. Here we are using the Sunrise Beige colour variant. The smartphone is also available in Oasis Green and Astral Black colour schemes. Realme partnered with Matteo Menotto, the former print and textile designer of GUCCI, for this design.
Another thing that catches your attention is the huge circular camera module. While this is something very common these days in flagship smartphones, it is for the first time that users will get it in a mid-level segment. The device looks premium, thanks to the vegan leather finish and a golden ring at the centre of the camera module.
The hand-made 3D stitching design adds a touch of opulence to the overall look.

The power button and volume rockers are on the right edge. The SIM tray, microphone, Type-C port, and speaker grille are at the bottom. The secondary speaker and another microphone are on the top. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack available in the smartphone. Realme 11 Pro+ doesn't feel heavy in the hands and weighs 189 grams. Also, it is quite comfortable to hold this device - thanks to curved edges both on the front and back.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Display
On the front, you will get a 6.7-inch OLED display with 2412×1080 FHD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 360Hz of touch sampling rate and a 1260Hz instantaneous sampling rate. It also comes with a 1.07 billion colour display, 100 per cent P3 wide colour range, 2412×1080 FHD+ resolution, and a 5000000:1 contrast ratio.
This was all about specifications. In terms of usage, this display is good for watching content and the best part is that it comes with Widevine L1 certification. Dual stereo speakers, with Dolby Atmos, add more fun to content consumption. The screen offers a peak brightness of 950 nits and can be comfortably used even under direct sunlight. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and it is quite responsive.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Performance and software
Realme 11 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset based on a 6nm fabrication process. It is a slightly tweaked version of the Dimensity 1080 SoC, that powered Realme 10 Pro+ 5G, and is designed to support phones with a 200-megapixel camera sensor.
While the smartphone has decent benchmark scores, in day-to-day scenarios Realme 11 Pro+ can handle all your tasks with ease. From multitasking to playing video games like Asphalt 9, the smartphone performed smoothly and didn't stutter. The one thing that is worth highlighting is that there are no overheating issues in this smartphone, even while using the camera for a long duration.

On the software front, it runs on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin.
As expected, this too comes with a lot of bloatware and pre-installed apps. However, there are some new features like always-on-display.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Camera
Realme 11 Pro+ comes with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 SuperZoom sensor. For the uninitiated, HP3 is somewhat similar to the HPX sensor of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. The main camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and 2-megapixel macro shooter. One of the interesting features of the smartphone is the Moon mode which clicks clear images of the Moon. For selfies, Realme 11 Pro+ has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor.
The primary camera clicks decent images with good details in daylight. But there were instances when they were slightly saturated. Images generally have good dynamic range and you won't have much to complain about, except for the fact that the sky turns blue during the night.
Similarly, the 4X lossless zoom feature works well in good lighting conditions. Portrait mode also works well and edge detection is decent.
However, at times I noticed images have different colour temperatures under the same circumstance.
The performance of the front camera is satisfactory and offers decent skin tone accuracy.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Battery and charging
Realme is known for offering impressive battery life and it has managed to maintain its legacy with Realme 11 Pro+ as well. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and can easily last for the entire day.

The best part is that it comes with 100W charging brick that can juice up the smartphone from 0 to 100 per cent in just over 30 minutes.
Realme 11 Pro+ review: Verdict
Realme 11 Pro+ is a mid-range smartphone with a flagship-level design. Also, it offers good battery life and 100W fast charging. It has an adequately powerful processor that can handle all your day-to-day tasks with ease. However, bloatware is something that many will not appreciate. In a nutshell, this device can impress buyers with its aesthetics and also makes it one of the best options available at the price point.
