Oppo Reno 10 5G review: The Reno10 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset built on 6nm process technology.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Oppo Reno 10 is the most budget-friendly smartphone in the recently launched Reno 10 Series. The smartphone comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and is available in two colour variants - Ice Blue and Silvery Grey. Oppo Reno 10 is priced at Rs 32,999. Is the youngest sibling in the Reno 10 Series capable to justify the price tag? Find out in our review.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Design
Oppo Reno 10 looks exactly similar to Reno 10 Pro in terms of design. There are some minor differences like in thickness and others but nothing noticeable. Here we are using the Ice Blue variant and the matte finish at the back looks premium. The smartphone doesn't just have an eye-catching design but is quite ergonomic as well.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Display
Oppo Reno 10 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED 3D curved screen. It is protected with AGC Dragontrail Star 2 cover glass. Thanks to thin bezels, even at the bottom, the display offers a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Also, it offers a 120Hz of refresh rate brightness of 950 nits. High refresh lets you switch between different apps smoothly.
The display produces vibrant colours and multimedia consumption on this was quite immersive. It was further enhanced by new dual stereo speakers and ultra-volume mode.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Performance and software
The Reno10 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset built on 6nm process technology. The processor is capable to handle all your day-to-day tasks as well as intensive tasks without any noticeable lags. However, the smartphone does get warm when used for gaming for extended periods.
The Oppo Reno 10 boots on ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. While it is quite user-friendly with lots of options available, it does come with some bloatware. The only solace is that they can be uninstalled.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Battery
The Oppo Reno 10 comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 67W faster charging. The power adapter is provided by the company in the box. This lets you charge your smartphone from zero to 100 per cent in less than an hour.
The battery backup of the device is good and can easily last for the entire day.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Camera
Oppo Reno 10 comes with a triple camera setup at the rear. It has a 64MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto portrait camera with IMX709 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. For selfies, it has a 32MP punch-hole camera at the front.

The primary sensor of the smartphone captures well-detailed images in well-lit conditions. But there are some inconsistencies when it comes to low-light shots. You will often notice haziness even when using dedicated night mode.
The telephoto lens works wonders with top-notch quality in terms of edge detection and decent bokeh effect. Ultrawide camera too does a fairly good job but the images are not very detailed. When it comes to the 32MP selfie camera, it clicks decent images. But it lacks autofocus so you will have to tap to focus on the object.
Oppo Reno 10 5G review: Verdict
The OPPO Reno 10 5G looks stylish and has a good camera setup. However, adding an IP rating could have been an added advantage for the device. The smartphone is the perfect fit for those who want a stylish smartphone with all the essential features.
