The Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 2 boasts a portable design along with its lightweight profile. To draw a comparison, it resembles a general smartphone in size. To start with the design, it is a plastic-built device, which may be prone to damage. At the front, you will get a multipurpose button, which serves as the on/off button and displays the battery status. There is a USB port on the right side for charging, accompanied by a reset button and an LED light on the top. Overall, curved lines running along the device give it a sleek look.

Supported by a companion app, the Instax Mini Link app, the Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 2 is easy to use on both Android and iOS devices. To link it with the app, you need to press the Bluetooth icon displayed in the app and hold the printer’s power button. In the app, you will find several details displayed, including film strips left, battery life, and other information.

You get to use two modes with this device: Print mode and Fun mode. In the print mode, photos can be printed while in Fun mode, you can print any portion of the video, allowing you to crop the portion of the video to be printed. The print quality appears to a somewhat compromised since the colours seem to be a bit unnatural, and the overall quality is affected. However, the final output is still useful.

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 2 has a built-in battery which takes almost an hour and a half to get fully charged. It provides an 8-hour battery backup.
