Boult Striker smartwatch review: Smartwatches are among the most important gadgets these days. Gone are the days when it used to be a status symbol, now it is a necessity. But not all can afford high-end smartwatches, so homegrown brands like Boult are gaining popularity. Here we are going to review the Boult Striker Bluetooth calling smartwatch that is available at Rs 1,599. Let's find out what it has to offer.
Boult Striker smartwatch review: Design
Inside the box, you will get the Boult Striker smartwatch along with a USB Type-A cable, a two-pin magnetic charger, and some documents. The Boult Striker smartwatch has a big 1.3-inch round dial with a metal finish. It has noticeable bezels, and you get BOULT STRIKER branding on the white rim. The straps are soft and large enough to fit well on every hand. There's only one push-button at the centre, which gives the watch a classic look. The best part about the watch is that it is quite lightweight and thus very comfortable to wear.
Boult Striker smartwatch review: Display
The Boult Striker smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch HD display and gives a decent viewing experience. You may sometimes struggle to use it under direct sunlight, but it can be used outdoors comfortably. It has noticeable bezels, and the screen is responsive. There are over 150 watchfaces, and some of them are really cool and make your watch look premium.
Boult Striker smartwatch review: Battery and charging
During my usage of over three weeks, I found the battery life of the Boult Striker Smartwatch to be more than satisfactory. You can easily use this smartwatch for four to five days on a single charger. However, this may reduce significantly if you are using the device for Bluetooth calling more often.
Also, you can charge the smartwatch fully in around two hours.
Boult Striker smartwatch review: Performance and user experience
The Boult Striker is loaded with all the features a high-end smartwatch offers. From monitoring your blood pressure to a sleep tracker, this watch has everything. However, it is always advisable to use medical-grade equipment to measure BP and blood oxygen levels. Smartwatches are only good for giving a rough idea about them. The Boult Striker smartwatch can also track the wearer’s heartbeat and menstrual cycle.

The Boult Striker smartwatch is equipped with Bluetooth 5.1 and you can easily make and receive calls using a dedicated mic and speaker. You can save up to eight contact numbers in the smartwatch itself. I tried making some calls using the smartwatch, and the audio quality from the mic as well as the speaker was good.
Boult Striker smartwatch review: Verdict
The Boult Striker is a feature-loaded smartwatch and has been priced very aggressively. While the Boult Stricker has several pros - Bluetooth calling, voice assistance, and an IP67 rating - the con is that health trackers are not very reliable - something very common in smartwatches available in this price range. Overall, the Boult Striker smartwatch is worth the price tag.
