The Boult Curve ANC Bluetooth neckband has a soft material around the neck and hard plastic at the lower ends. The design is minimalist with the right end having only the Boult Audio logo printed. You will get all the buttons and USB Type-C charging port on the right side. There's a power on/off button or multi-function button (MFB), volume rockers, an indicator light and a dedicated ANC button. These buttons are quite handy. I must say that the Boult Curve ANC is lightweight neckband and I have been using this device for over a week with ease. The earpieces fit well and the company provides ear hook support of fins with the box. So those who want to use fins can do so. I preferred using earpieces with just ear tips.

Boult Curve ANC review: Connectivity and features

The Boult Curve ANC comes with Bluetooth 5.3 and therefore has a good connection range. The company claims that the neckband offers a connection range of 10 meters and during my usage I found it to be true. Another important feature that works perfectly is dual pairing. Thanks to this feature, you can use the neckband while playing video games on your laptop and can also take calls from your phone. The neckband also has a voice assistant feature that can be activated by clicking the MFB button thrice.

The Boult Curve ANC comes with an IPX5 rating and therefore is splash resistant. Also, it has large 12mm drivers and the company claims that the Bluetooth neckband provides low latency of 60mm.

Boult Curve ANC review: Sound and voice quality

Thanks to large drivers, the Boult Curve ANC Bluetooth neckband provides good sound quality and good levels of bass. I enjoyed listening to music on this. However, I feel that it should have more treble to offer a little more clear voice. The ANC feature can be activated with just a tap on the dedicated button and the company claims that the neckband can reduce the noise by 25dB. But during my usage, I found it to be not very effective and the company could have worked on it to make it a little better.

The neckband also has a transparent mode that can be useful while making calls as it lets you hear the outside sound and can come in handy while making calls. This feature will help you listen to your sound clearly and therefore you won't end up raising your voice unnecessarily.

The Boult Curve ANC also has ENC or Environmental Noise Cancellation and it works well while making phone calls. The voice quality of this neckband is good. The company claims that the Bluetooth neckband offers low latency of 60ms in the dedicated game mode. This is to an extent true and you will not feel much latency while playing video games with these neckbands on.

Boult Curve ANC review: Battery and charging

In terms of battery, the Boult Curve ANC gives a decent backup and can last for up to 30 hours with ANC mode. Without ANC that can be pushed further. In terms of charging, the company claims that 10 min of charging can give 10 hours of backup in ANC mode. I found the battery back to be decent during my usage.

Boult Curve ANC review: Verdict

At Rs 1,499, the Boult Curve ANC is offering a lot of features. However, some of the features are not up to the mark and need improvements. For example, it doesn't have a magnetic power switch and therefore it will remain connected to the device if not in use and snapped together. But the price range in which this neckband is available makes it worthy of giving a try.
