Indian tech brand Boat has launched its latest TWS earbuds, the Boat Nirvana IVY, equipped with features like in-ear detection, Spatial Sound with head tracking, ANC, and more. Let’s delve into the features and analyse how the Nirvana IVY performs.

- The Nirvana IVY features a rectangular case featuring a Type-C port located on the right side. The top is etched with, “Nirvana by Boat”. The device has a matte finish, which helps prevent fingerprints and smudges. 

- The case feels sturdily build, thanks to its bulky profile, weighing 45g. On the front, there’s a small LED indicator that indicates pairing, charging, and battery status. The Nirvana IVY has received an IPX5 certification for water and dust resistance. 

- The earbuds sport a flashy design, with the top half of the stem donning silver accents. The earbuds are comfortable, fitting snuggly in the ears. The box includes three extra pairs of silicone buds that cater to different ear sizes. 

- The dedicated touch control area on the buds is responsive and can be customised through the Boat Hearable app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. 

- The Boat Hearable app comes with several customisation options, including Adaptive EQ, touch control, device diagnostics, and more. 

- A long press on the left earbud activates 360 Spatial Audio and head tracking, while a long press on the right allows users to toggle ANC and Ambient Mode and turn off ANC.  

- The Nirvana features connectivity options like Bluetooth 5.3 and Google Fast Pair. The in-ear detection feature works seamlessly, and the earbuds can connect to two devices simultaneously. 

- Equipped with 11mm drivers, the earbuds deliver sound that is slightly bass-heavy but falls short in impressing in terms of richness and definition. 

- The company claims that Nirvana IVY offers up to a playback time of 11 hours with ANC off and Spatial Audio enabled and 7 hours with ANC on. Including the case, the device promises up to 50 hours of battery life. Additionally, a 10-minute quick charge promises a playback time of 240 minutes.
