WhatsApp introducing video call background, filter features - Here's how it works

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: WhatsApp is rolling out filters and backgrounds to make video calls even more engaging. 

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: Filters are designed to help users create a more playful atmosphere. These filters will let users add a splash of colour or create a more artistic feel for video calls.

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: With backgrounds, WhatsApp users can keep their surroundings private. Also, it will offer a cleaner and more polished look.

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: "With 10 filters and 10 backgrounds to choose from, you can select and mix a wide range of options to create a unique look," the company said in a release. 

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: Filter options include Warm, Cool, Black & White, Light leak, Dreamy, Prism light, Fisheye, Vintage TV, Frosted glass, and Duo tone. 

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: Background options include Blur, living room, Office, Cafe, Pebbles, Foodie, Smoosh, Beach, Sunset, Celebration and Forest. 

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: WhatsApp is also adding Touch up and Low Light options that let users naturally enhance the look and brightness of the environment, making video calls more vibrant and enjoyable.

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: To access these during a 1:1 or group video call, users need to select the effects icons on the top right of the screen to see the selection of filters and backgrounds and choose the one that suits their mood.

WhatsApp Video Call Background Filter: According to WhatsApp, these effects will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
