Time to change your smartphone: These Xiaomi devices have received price cut; check new rates
Chinese technology firm Xiaomi has carved a niche with some of its best-selling smartphones in Indian market where it has completed almost five years. The company claimted to have sold one crore Redmi Note 5 Pro phones in India since launching the device in March 2018, and the phone still continues to remain the best-selling smartphone under Rs 15,000 price segment. There are other Xiaomi devices including Xiaomi Mi A2, Xiaomi Redmi Y2, Xiaomi Redmi 6A and Xiaomi Mi TV that recently received price cut.
Xiaomi Mi A2
With a price tag of Rs 13,999, Xiaomi has extended discount on this smartphone in India. Mi A2's base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is now available with a discount of Rs 2,000 from its previous retail price of Rs 15,999. The company is also offering Rs 3000 discount on 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant to sell it for Rs 15,999 in India, making this device very popular in the mid-range segment. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro
Available at a starting price of Rs 12,999, after a discount of Rs 3,000 over its launch price, the base variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 4GB RAM/64GB storage. Termed as the best selling device under Rs 20,000 price segment, the Xiaomi device with 6GB RAM/64GB storage is priced at Rs 13,999. Boasting features like a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors and a 20-megapixel sensor. Xiaomi Redmi Y2
The second selfie-centric smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi Y2's base variant of 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is available at Rs 8,999, after getting discount of Rs 2,000 in the wake of five year celebration. The other variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 10,999, featuring a 5.45-inch HD+ display, quad-core MediaTek CPU, 13-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi Redmi 6A
This Xiaomi phone was launched at Rs 5,999, but its price was hiked later. The smartphone, however, is available at its starting price of Rs 5,999. Xiaomi Redmi 6A features a 5.45-inch HD+ display, quad-core MediaTek CPU, 13-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi Mi TV
The Chinese technology firm has also announced price cut on its Mi TV in India, following the announcement of Goods and Services Tax (GST) reduction on 32-inch televisions from 28 per cent to 18 per cent. Xiaomi Mi LED Smart TV 4A 32-inch model is now available at Rs 12,499, after a discount of Rs 1,500, while Mi LED TV 4C Pro 32-inch is being retailed at Rs 13,999, after a discount of Rs 2,000.
