Google for India 2021: Today Google hosted the 'Google for India' event where new product updates focused on the Indian market were announced. Google India's official YouTube channel has livestreamed the event. Now, let us go through all the major updates that Google has announced this year keeping in mind the Indian market. Digital transformation in India
Sanjay Gupta, Vice President, Google India said, "When you look at the pace of digital transformation in India, it clearly emerges as a break-out country in the world." As per IDC and App Anine sources, Indians are spending 20 per cent more time on smartphones with 2.5 times more smartphone users in the last 12 months with respect to the previous year. Google Classroom - anywhere and anytime

Google Pay: Bill Split and Hinglish options
Ambarish Kenghe, Vice President, Google Pay said that soon they will be adding a new feature to make Groups (launched earlier this year) even more useful with Bill Split. Furthermore, Google Pay India will also be the first app at Google to have the Hinglish option. Soon, one will also be able to use voice while making direct transfers to bank accounts. These certificates are built by Google experts to prepare learners from across backgrounds for new economy jobs. The learners can learn skills such as IT automation, project management, data analytics and UX design on a single platform.
