As per the reports, the new iPhone has been launched with a couple of innovative upgrades but there is no significant change in design language. On the other hand, Huawei’s Mate XT might impress smartphone lovers with its all-new form factor.

Users can swap between three modes: When it is folded once, it serves as a 6.4-inch handset, when it is folded twice, it transforms into a 7.9-inch display screen device and when it is fully unfolded, it gives the feel of a 10.2-inch device, which is irrefutably a bigger tablet. 

Huawei Mate XT: The folding mechanism utilizes a special hinge system designed by Huawei, that ensures smooth changeovers between the various screen modes. The layout of the phone offers more versatility to users.

This phone features 16GB of RAM and comes in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It is packed with a 5,600mAh battery along with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Huawei has opened pre-orders for this smartphone and the official sale will begin from September 20. However, the phone is accessible in China only as of now. 

Huawei Mate XT: Huawei’s choice to unveil Mate XT Ultimate Design shortly after the launch of Apple’s iPhone 16 series appears to be a strategic move to solidify its dominance in smartphone innovation. Huawei has lately outdone Samsung to become the worldwide leader in the foldable smartphone market, claiming around 27.5 per cent of the market share. In the meantime, Apple’s first foldable smartphone is not supposed to be launched until 2025, offering Huawei a better head start in this segment of the smartphone market.

Huawei Mate XT: The price of Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design starts at CNY 19,999 (roughly Rs. 2,35,900) for 16GB + 256GB model. The device will also be available in 512GB and 1TB storage variants priced at CNY 21,999 (roughly Rs. 2,59,500) and CNY 23,999 (roughly Rs. 2,83,100), respectively.
