ZTE in partnership with Flipkart launches Blade A2 Plus smartphone priced at Rs 11,999 in India
ZTE has launched Blade A2 Plus in Indian market price at Rs 11,999.
China's mobile device maker ZTE Mobile Devices launched Blade A2 Plus mid-range premium smartphone device in India in partnership with e-commerce firm Flipkart on Friday last week.
“ZTE has established high-trust and credibility of consumers and clients globally through its path breaking innovation, customisation and high-quality services. We are committed to establish ZTE in the Indian market by launching innovative products at disruptive prices to connect with the consumers,” ZTE India Terminal chief marketing officer Sachin Batra, said in a press release on February 3.
The Blade A2 Plus has 13-megapixel main camera sensor, which will produce high quality photos and it can capture 1080p high definition video, the release said.
The mobile device runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has battery capacity of 5000 mAh, which has talk time of 22 hours.
Moreover, it has a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution) LCD capacitive touch screen display with a pixels density of 404PPI. It has a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot. The device is available at Rs 11,999.
"Our Blade-series smartphone, ZTE Blade A2 Plus comes with 4G LTE, VoLTE support and host of other features at an effective price.Through this phone, we take the first step to reach millions of Indians who are going digital. By eliminating multiple external factors, we want to bring the best phones that industry has to offer and at an effective price,” Batra said in a statement.
Commenting on its partnership with Flipkart, Batra said, “Our partnership with Flipkart is in line with our growth strategy for this market and we hope to leverage Flipkart’s strength and widen the reach for our products.”
"The Blade A2 is a product that checks all the right boxes when it comes to customer expectations - a good camera, long battery life, great looks and aggressive pricing. We are sure this new phone will be well received by our customers," Flipkart vice president-mobiles Ajay Yadav, said in a statement.
