After the launch of  Xiaomi’s  affordable Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A  in China last month, predictions are now being made that these can soon make it to India as well.

Claiming industrial sources, a 91Mobiles report cites that the two new Redmi smartphones of Xiaomi will launch sometime in September in India. However, there have been no clarifications about exact date of the launch.

Both smartphones come with processor powering of a MediaTek SoC under the hood in China but the thing to note here is the legal issues it is facing in India.  Despite this fact, the report claims that these successors to the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5A will be coming to India without any modifications.

 Last month, the Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi has launched Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 and the Redmi 6A in China . The variant of the Redmi 6-32GB+3GB and 64GB+4GB RAM are priced at  RMB 799 (approximately Rs 8,500 and  RMB 999 (approximately Rs 10,500) respectively. On the other hand the Redmi 6 A costs RMB 599 (approximately Rs 6,300).

While Redmi 6 features a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 display with MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core SoC chipset, dual-camera setup (12-megapixel+5-megapixel) at the back, 5-megapixel selfie camera and backed by 3,000mAh battery, Redmi 6A sports the same diplay but with a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core SoC and 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera .

Xiaomi Redmi 6 comes with fingerprint sensor ,  connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi and GPS while Redmi 6A  features face unlock instead of physical fingerprint sensor.
