Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S: The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi is all set to launch its new smartphone in India -- Redmi Note 11S -- on February 9 (Wednesday). This was revealed by the company on Monday through its official Twitter handle. After the launch announcement, the full specifications and price have leaked on the internet, as per reported by BGR.in.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S: Specifications

Some of the essential features of the Redmi Note 11S have already been revealed by Xiaomi. The smartphone will have an AMOLED display and a design similar to the Redmi Note 11. The gadget was shown in blue on the teaser poster, but we expect Redmi to provide additional colour options to entice customers.

According to BGR.in, Tipster Yogesh Brar leaked the whole specifications sheet of the forthcoming Redmi Note 11S smartphone before its official announcement.

-According to the leaked specifications sheet, the Redmi Note 11S will have a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

-The MediaTek Helio G96 SoC is expected to be used, along with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The top-of-the-line model is expected to include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also have expandable storage, according to the leaked specifications sheet.

-On the software front, the Redmi Note 11S is slated to ship with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. According to certain sources, the phone will ship with MIUI 13.

-In terms of camera specs, the Redmi Note 11S is said to include a quad-camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary Samsung HM2 sensor, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX3555 sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. Another report, on the other hand, claims that the smartphone would have three camera sensors on the rear.

-For selfies and video calls, the Redmi Note 11S will include a 13-megapixel front camera sensor.

-The Redmi phone will be powered by a 5000mAh battery with out-of-the-box support for 33W fast charging, according to the leaked specifications sheet.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S: Price in India (expected)

The Redmi Note 11S's price is also revealed in the leak. According to the BGR.in, the new Redmi phone will be Rs 1000 – Rs 2000 costlier than the predecessor Redmi Note 10S.

The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage option of the Redmi Note 10S, which was released in India last year, costs Rs 14,999. As a result, the Redmi Note 11S is expected to start at roughly Rs 16,000-17,000. The final pricing will be announced during next month's virtual launch event.
