Poco F1’s Powerful Processor – Snapdragon 845
One of the most amazing features of this device is the Snapdragon 845 processor which makes it a steal in this price range. Before Poco F1, the only device that used to come with Snapdragon 845 processor was Asus Zenfone 5Z. However, Poco F1 comes at a price which is less by Rs 9,000 as compared to the Asus Zenfone 5Z. Poco F1 is priced at Rs 20,999. Snapdragon 845 is the most efficient and powerful chipset from Qualcomm.
Audio Quality with Dual Speakers
Poco F1 comes with a dual-channel audio channel, a feature which is only seen in higher price smartphones. The dual channel audio is supported with two speaker grilles placed at the bottom of the device.
Poco F1 Liquid Cooling Technology
The Liquid Cooling technology implemented in the Poco F1 makes use of water vapour, dedicated cooling hardware, and simple thermodynamics to dissipate heat from the upper body of the phone to the lower side thus maintaining a healthy temperature for the smartphone. The cooling technology especially comes into use when the phone is put through demanding tasks like 4K video playing or gaming for more extended time periods, reported Telecom talks.
Infrared Based Face Unlock Technology
Poco F1 also utilises the infrared illuminator and the infrared lens to scan the 3D image of the user’s face. The smartphone is also capable of unlocking itself using Face Unlock even in darkness, thanks to its IR setup on the front.
Textured and Back for Durability
The device with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage comes with Armoured Kevlar edition. The back portion of the smartphone is covered in textured triple layer Kevlar. The device also boats of a polycarbonate body.
Notably, Flipkart was able to sell over 1 lakh units under 5 minutes, as more than 300 units were bought every second. The e-commerce website also stated that Poco F1 is the fastest selling smartphone in the history of flagship segment.
Xiaomi Poco F1's base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 20,999, while the mid-variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage comes at a price tag of Rs 23,999. The top end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost Rs 28,999.
