Xiaomi MIUI 14 Update: Months after unveiling it, Xiaomi has started to bring the MIUI 14 update to its smartphones. According to the smartphone manufacturer, the MIUI 14 update has been started rolling out to some devices, like POCO F4 and Xiaomi 11T.

The MIUI 14, according to the company, is the most optimised and streamlined version of the OS (Operating System) based on Android 13. As compared to its predecessor MIUI 13, the latest Android skin is lighter and uses lesser memory. 

While the Poco F4 is receiving the software with firmware MIUI 14.2.0 TLMEUXM, the MIUI 14 update for the Xiaomi 11T comes with firmware version MIUI 14.0.3.0 TKWMIXM.

According to reports, the update will be of a size 3.5GB and therefore it is recommended to download over Wi-Fi. Also, it is worth mentioning that the rollout is currently limited to only those users who are enrolled in the Mi Pilot program.

According to reports, the POCO F4 is getting updates only in Europe and 11T is receiving them globally.

As part of the update, the company has introduced a new feature called 'Super icons'.

Meanwhile, Manu Jain on Monday announced to quit the global smartphone brand Xiaomi after serving it for nine years, saying the "end of a journey also marks the beginning of a new one, full of exciting opportunities".

In a post on Twitter, Jain, who was hailed as the poster boy of the Indian smartphone industry, announced the move, but did not disclose where he would be joining next.

Also, POCO X5 Pro is scheduled to be launched on February 6, 2023.
