The Chinese phone- maker, Xiaomi has unveiled the entry-level Android One Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite along with Xiaomi Mi A2. The smartphone has been unveiled at Xiaomi's global event in Spain. Mi A2 Lite is the third product under the Android One program and the company said that the phone will be the first to get an Android P update later this year. With a notched display, Mi A2 comes in three colour options- Black, Gold, and Blue.

The 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant of the phone is priced at 179 Euros (approx. Rs 14,434) and the variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will retail for 229 Euros (approx. Rs 18,465). As the mentioned prices of the phones are that in Spain, so it is expected that the prices would be much lower in India. The Indian launch is yet to be revealed by Xiaomi.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Specifications
Mi A2 Lite comes with specifications similar to that of Redmi 6 Pro. The device sports a 5.84-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. the phone comes in 3GB/32GB of storage and 4GB/64GB of storage options. A microSD card slot is provided for the expansion of the storage.

Powered by Artificial Intelligence, the phone comes with dual rear cameras. It sports a 12MP primary shooter on the rear with f/2.2 aperture, 1.25-micron pixels and PDAF. A 5MP depth sensor has been added by the company which accompanies the primary sensor during Portrait shots. A 5MP selfie shooter with HDR mode and 1080p video recording capability is there in the front.

Mi A2 runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is due to get an Android P update later this year. The smartphone is powered by 4000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner is also added on the rear side.

The connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a Micro USB port. The phone doesn’t offer any fast charging support.
