Xiaomi launches Mi outdoor Bluetooth speaker in India priced at Rs 1,399

Xiaomi on Monday launched the Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker in the country. The announcement was made by Xiaomi India chief and global VP Manu Kumar Jain through his Twitter handle. It was later confirmed by Xiaomi through an official statement. The speaker promises to offer an exceptional audio experience through a 5W power output that delivers clear, rich vocals and punchy bass.

To enable a wide spectrum of sound frequencies, the speaker features a passive radiator and a diaphragm made of Canadian long fiber pulp vibration film. The passive radiator enhances low frequencies while the diaphragm acts as a perfect damping system delivering natural and clear sound by restraining vibration.

The speaker comes with voice assistant (Google Assistant, Alexa or Siri) support through a touch button. It has Bluetooth 5.0 support which allows users to stream music effortlessly. There is also a one key function which enables users to answer or end calls with one touch.

The Mi Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker is priced at Rs 1,399 which is a 30 percent discount from its claimed MRP of Rs 1,999. It is selling via Mi.com. There is only one colour option listed on the website - black.

The speaker claims to offer a music playback of up to 20 hours at 80 per cent volume on a full charge of the 2000mAh battery. The speaker comes with an PX5 rating along with anti-skid edge grip design which protects the device from accidental splashes and spills behind.
