Xiaomi HyperOS 2: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled the rollout schedule for its latest user interface, HyperOS 2, built on top of Android 15. The global plan for the update was shared via a post on X by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. The update, which was officially announced last month, is expected to come with enhanced aesthetics, fresh animations, as well as Xiaomi’s cross-device connectivity and other significant features.

According to the official schedule, a specific set of devices will get the HyperOS 2 update by this month’s end. The smartphones slated for the update include: 

– Xiaomi Mix Flip
– Xiaomi 14T Pro
– Xiaomi 14T
– Xiaomi 14
– Xiaomi 14 Ultra
– Xiaomi 13T Pro
– Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G
– Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G
– Redmi Note 13 Pro
– Redmi Note 13 5G
– Redmi Note 13
– POCO F6 Pro
– POCO X6 Pro
– POCO X6
– POCO M6 Pro

Along with smartphones, devices such as the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro will also receive the update. Some other devices that will be updated with the HyperOS 2 include: 

– Xiaomi 13 Series
– Xiaomi 12 Series
– Redmi Note 12 Series
– Xiaomi Pad 6
– Redmi Pad Pro 5G
– Redmi Pad SE

Many other devices are also expected to receive the HyperOS 2 update during the initial months of 2025. In India, the company is likely to roll out the update in the upcoming weeks. 

The global version of HyperOS 2 will introduce a customised lock screen, a 3D real-time weather system designed to simulate the true atmospheric conditions accurately and dynamic effects throughout the interface. Additionally, it will feature an Upgraded Xiaomi Interconnectivity, enabling users to use and pin apps smoothly across devices. 

Furthermore, the company has unveiled a suite of HyperAI-powered applications, which include generative AI for picture editing, real-time translations, AI-assisted writing capabilities, and AI lock screen backgrounds.
