Xiaomi expands portfolio, launches Redmi power banks starting at Rs 799: Check specs

Xiaomi on Tuesday expanded its portfolio by launching two new Redmi power banks in India. The new Redmi power bank comes in two variants with 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh power. The 10,000mAh Redmi power bank is priced at Rs 799 and the 20,000mAh variant would cost you Rs 1,499. The Redmi power bank has been launched in two colour options - black and white, and features an anti-slip grip design.
Redmi’s new power banks will go on sale on February 18 via mi.com and Mi Home stores. The power banks will have dual input ports for USB Type-C and micro USB. It also has dual USB output which lets users charge two devices simultaneously.
Redmi is giving 10W fast charging support for the 10,000 mAh power while the 20,000mAh Redmi power bank has support for 18W fast charging. The power banks also support two-way fast charging on the same wattage. The power bank will come with a low power mode which can be enabled by pressing the power button twice.

It will adjust the power usage on the power bank and is customized for devices like fitness bands and Bluetooth headphones. The power banks are also equipped with a 12 layer circuit protection.
Apart from the power bank, Xiaomi has also launched the Redmi 8A Dual with comes with two cameras at the back - 13MP primary camera and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you get a 8MP sensor that supports AI portrait mode. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset.
