In what comes as good news for Xiaomi fans, the Chinese tech giant is reportedly set to make a global launch of its much-awaited Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The involuntary confirmation regarding the launch comes via a certification, as the Xiaomi 15 Ultra appeared in the EEC database under model number 25010PN30G. Notably, this model number is not new as in July itself, three model numbers —25010PN30C, 225010PN30I, and 25010PN30G — were found in the IMEI database.

The information regarding the launch can be considered reliable, as these kinds of certifications are mandatory to ensure before a device makes to various markets. Such certifications are prerequisites before a device is launched through official channels. 

However, the exact timeframe for the launch can’t be ascertained as of now, and no official specifications related to the device have surfaced. It is speculated that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, at best, will hit the market as early as next year. Some rumoured specs making rounds on the social media, include an improved selfie camera, enhanced camera capabilities, and the potential inclusion of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset.

In other developments related to Xiaomi, the company has launched its latest smartphone series, including the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro. Like the Xiaomi 14 series, the 14T series sports an imaging system, which has been co-engineered in collaboration with Leica. These devices in the Xiaomi 14T series are the company’s first to be integrated with artificial intelligence features, as they come equipped with the Google Gemini Nano model and gesture-driven Circle to Search functionality, allowing users to search for objects using gestures.
