Xiaomi 15 Pro to be launched this month: Check expected features and specifications of the new

Xiaomi 15 Pro: Xiaomi has confirmed that the new Xiaomi 15 series will make its entry into the Chinese market on October 23. Without indulging in much detail, the company has indicated that the series will be supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset that will include two devices: Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. As per the experts, this premium handset is likely to be a close competitor of OnePlus 13 that as well is arriving this month.  However, before the launch of the Xiaomi 15 series, a couple of leaks drew a power-packed picture of its predicted features and specifications. 

Xiaomi 15 Pro Design and Display

According to a few leaks, the Xiaomi 15 Pro will receive an overhauled layout and will be available in three shades; grey, black, and white. The camera module of the device might receive an upgrade, which is expected to be larger and will include more camera sensors as compared to the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The flashlight is expected to be situated outside the module, resulting in an enhanced camera system. Between the distinct camera rings, a Leica branding will apparently be placed.  Leaks indicate that the Periscope lens will be noticeable at the bottom left, offering a prominent upgrade in zoom functionality. The device might feature a 6.78-inch quad-curved 2K AMOLED display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Xiaomi 15 Pro Processor

Xiaomi suggests that the Xiaomi 15 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, loaded with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB memory selections. Apparently, a few additional tools such as stereo speakers for immersive audio, an in-display fingerprint sensor for improved safety, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance will make it a high-end smartphone device. The smartphone is expected to run on HyperOS 2.0, which will ensure up to 5 years of Android upgrades.

Xiaomi 15 Pro Camera

The camera system of Xiaomi 15 Pro is predicted to boast a 50MP main camera equipped with Light Fusion 900 series tool, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a new 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto shooter with 5X zoom and 30cm focus length. It is expected to have a 32MP front camera featuring a Leica branding for improved optical quality. The upgraded telephoto shooter will ensure enhanced zoom and macro photography experience.
