Elon Musk's company, X, has introduced two novel features, namely Sensitivity Settings and Enhanced Blocklist, catering to advertisers.
In addition to the existing safeguards across the platform, X will soon initiate trials of Sensitivity Settings. This feature empowers advertisers to harmonize their brand messaging with content on X that aligns with their distinct sensitivity preferences, as stated in a recent company blogpost.
Scheduled to be accessible within the upcoming weeks through X Ads Manager, the innovative Sensitivity Settings offer an automated solution for brands to strike the right equilibrium between their reach and suitability when positioning ads on the platform. Advertisers will have the freedom to choose their desired environment that best serves their individual campaign goals.
Enhanced Blocklist, on the other hand, emerges as an automated, industry-standard blocklist designed to shield advertisers from being associated with potentially harmful keywords within the Home Timeline—specifically "For You" and "Following" sections.
The company expressed that these newly introduced solutions signify significant milestones in their ongoing journey towards ensuring brand safety and suitability. Furthermore, X's commitment to providing advertisers with enhanced control and transparency remains steadfast, with the promise of continually developing new features for their benefit.
Recently, the company made the claim that over 99 percent of the content visible to users and advertisers on the platform adheres to healthful standards.
In a recent development, X has commenced remunerating Indian creators as part of the second batch of its freshly launched 'ads revenue sharing programme' for creators. Numerous users shared screenshots of the messages they received from the platform after receiving their share of the revenue. One user, going by the handle 'Gabbar', humorously remarked, "Money paid for Blue tick recovered," upon receiving a substantial sum of Rs 2,09,282. Another user, who received Rs 3,51,000, expressed gratitude with a shoutout to Elon Musk.
