If you are one of those working from home, a slow internet connection could play spoilsport while sending emails or heavy files.
With more and more people staying indoors and using their home connection to work or streaming high quality content, you may also see the internet speed falling over the next few days. However, there are few things that you may need to do to make sure that you continue to use high speed internet and increased efficiency –

- Download the SpeedTest application on your Android phone or iPhone or go to its website.
- Open the app and click on the ‘Go’ option in the middle to find out the internet speed.
- The app will take a few seconds to test and show the results of the internet speed of your broadband connection.
What to if speed is slow?
First of all, you should reboot your router. It will automatically fix several operational issues in the device and there is a chance that you might start enjoying better speeds. The next step would be to disconnect any devices that are not in use. If you have more number of devices connected to the same router, the speed will automatically decrease.
While you are working, try not to stream movies or play games using the same internet connection. If you take these steps, it will have a positive effect on your internet speed.
