WhatsApp Web to get support for Messenger Rooms: Here is how to get it

The social networking giant had last month rolled out several new features including Messenger Rooms and extending the limit for WhatsApp group video calls to eight. It is believed that Facebook will soon roll out Messenger Rooms support for WhatsApp Web.
At the time of announcing the feature and some other Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that Messenger Rooms will be supported across WhatsApp, Instagram, and also Portal. The social media giant plans to integrate Messenger, WhatsApp, and Instagram as suggested in the past.
WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo suggests that the instant messaging platform has started testing Messenger Rooms on the WhatsApp Desktop version already. It says that the feature is already available to some WhatsApp for Web users. The feature is reportedly available on WhatsApp Web version 2.2019.6.

How to use Messenger Rooms
The support will allow WhatsApp Web users to make calls directly through Messenger Rooms. The users can start the group video call or Messenger Rooms call from either WhatsApp or Messenger. The feature will also ask users if they wish to create a room from WhatsApp or wish to head over to Facebook Messenger to create the room.
The hosts of the Messenger Rooms call will be able to invite anyone and everyone they want to join the video conference. To join the video chat a person needn’t have a Facebook account or be friends with the host on Facebook. The feature allows 50 people to stay connected over video calls at the same time.
It is still unclear when the Messenger Rooms support will arrive for WhatsApp users.
