WhatsApp Update: Bug Spotted! Random messages seen in reply section of WhatsApp chats
The WhatsApp bug spotted has made the users uncomfortable and worried, as the app has gained the most popularity among the prevailing social media platforms.
Social mesaging platform WhatsApp, which is the most popular messenger application among the people across the globe, has recently been spotted with a bug on it that picks up random messages in the reply section of WhatsApp chats, said WABetaInfo Twitter, which keeps a tab on the social messaging App. Spotting the issue, the tipster has shared the details about this latest WhatsApp bug on Twitter.
The bug is stated to be present in the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.19.27, and this bug, which picks random messages in the reply section, is present in group chats only.
On Januray 30, WABetaInfo tweeted, "New bug in WhatsApp beta for Android 2.19.27:
- Reply a message in a chat.
- Exit from the chat and open it again.
The reply context still has the last message you wanted to reply to.

According to a Phone World report, whenever users open a group chat and swipe to reply a message and exit the WhatsApp chat after the reply has been sent, the next time when they open the chat, a random message from the same chat is picked in the reply section.
The bug spotted on the app has made the users uncomfortable and worried, as it has gained the most popularity among the prevailing social media platforms.
In another significant development related to Facebook`s plans of integrating chats among Whatsapp, Messenger and Instagram, the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said that this is going to be a long-term project.

After announcing Facebook`s fourth quarter results late Wednesday, Zuckerberg reportedly stated that they were early in thinking through the integration plan, adding "There`s a lot more that we need to figure out before we finalize the plans. This is going to be a long-term project that I think will probably be to whatever extent we end up doing it in - a 2020 thing or beyond."
