Users must know that this features enabled the users to send a personalized GIF just like a personalized sticker. By using this feature, you can trim a video and convert it to a GIF. After which you can share this GIF with your contact. 

Notably, to get this feature you must have a supported video file and the latest version of WhatsApp.

Here is how you can make personalized GIF
1. Open WhatsApp and go to a chat window.
2. Click on the option of attachment seen in the chat box. 
3. Select a video of your choice which you want to make a GIF.
4. Now you will get the option to trim the video and add text, emoji etc.
5. Now select the part you want to trim
6. Choose the GIF option
6. After the process is complete, tap the share button.

All you have to do is select a video and trim it to a GIF.
