WhatsApp Video Note Feature: To enhance the user experience, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature - Video Note. With the help of this feature, WhatsApp users can now send not only voice notes but also video notes. This new "video note mode" is available in the camera function. According to Wabetainfo, the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.14.14, available on the Google Play Store, reveals that the app is working on video notes and plans to release this feature shortly. To send a video note, long press the camera icon near the chat bar. You will see three options: video, photo, and video note. Select video note to record and send video messages.

Available on iOS and Testing New Shortcut Button

The video note feature is also available on iOS through version 24.13.10.76, accessible via the Test Flight program. In 2023, WhatsApp introduced Instant Video Notes, allowing users to record and send 60-second video messages directly in chats. Recently, WhatsApp has started testing a new shortcut button for quick responses to video notes.
