Only Windows 8.1 (or newer) or Mac OSX 10.9 (or newer) have the access to the WhatsApp app
How to install WhatsApp on Mac OSX 10.9+:
Download the .zip file by navigating the download page on the computer.
Now, open the .zip file and run the WhatsApp.app
Once that is done, the application would ask whether the user wants to add the folder to the desktop dock.
After the completion of the installation, the user has to launch WhatsApp on the computer and scan the QR code with their smartphone to log in.
The other option is to download and install WhatsApp via the Apple App Store using a similar process.
