WhatsApp has launched a new chat lock feature for its users, as they can now easily lock any chat, and it won't appear in their inbox.
WhatsApp Chat Lock: WhatsApp keeps on introducing new features to provide a great chatting experience to its millions of users. In the same series, WhatsApp today (May 16) launched a new privacy feature for its users, allowing them to lock any chat easily. Once the user has locked the chat, they will not be able to see the messages related to this chat, even in their inbox.
Even the content of the locked message will not be visible in the notification. If the user wants to see the content of the chat lock (WhatsApp Chat Lock), they have to use the password or fingerprint.
WhatsApp said in a blog post that the company was working passionately to keep users' messages private and secure.
"Today we're excited to bring you a new feature that lets you protect your chats behind another layer of security," it said in a statement.
