WhatsApp chat history transfer between devices on same OS: Here's new and more secure way to do it
WhatsApp chat history transfer: WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging apps and helps us to stay connected with our loved ones. To let you connected even when a user changes its device, the Meta-owned platform has announced a faster and more private way to transfer the chat history between devices on the same operating system. The announcement in this regard was made by Mark Zuckerberg.
For the first time, users can preserve their complete chat and media history without having to exit the app.
More secure than using unofficial third-party apps which lack clear privacy practices, and are more private than cloud services, the transfer process is authenticated with a QR code, data is only shared between your two devices, and is fully encrypted during transfer.
