Step 4: Now select 'next' to receive a verification code or 'Call me' option to receive the code via call on the same number.

Step 5: Now enter your 6-digit verification code received via SMS or phone call on your smartphone

This completes your verification process. In order to verify your WhatsApp Business number you can use either your mobile phone or landline (fixed) number. However, you should be able to recieve verfication code either via sms or phone call on them.
