Meta-owned WhatsApp introduced the feature on iOS last month. This feature has now been rolled out to Android users as well. It gives more power to users by letting them control what to forward with the media.

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp application
Step 2: Go to your chats.
Step 3: Select the media file from the chat you want to forward to your contacts.
Step 4: Click on the forward icon.
Step 5: As soon as you do this, the image will appear along with the caption. This will also have the option to cancel the caption.
Step 6: If you want to forward the media with a caption, select contact details and send.
