The long wait for fans is over and the first official teaser of OnePlus 7 is finally here! The teaser was shared by none other than OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on Twitter who claimed that the upcoming OnePlus flagship will unleash a new era that is both fast and smooth. The teaser does not reveal much but shows a part of the phone making number 7 with its edges. It emphasises on the words - Fast and Smooth, where three dots replace the double O in smooth. This could mean that the new OnePlus 7 might come with a triple rear camera setup as revealed in leaks earlier.

In his tweet, Lau said that it was more challenging to make the phone smooth than fast. "Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast – a true test of hardware and software," he tweeted.

Even though there is no official confirmation on this, OnePlus is expected to launch two devices on May 14 - OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Some leaks have claimed that OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch Super Optic display and a Snapdragon 855 processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is tipped to have a triple camera setup of 48MP + 16MP + 8MP combination at the back. The phone is expected to come with curved edges and a full-screen display with a popup selfie camera. The phone will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus is expected to sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with 95 per cent screen-to-body ratio, powered by Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The battery on the phone is tipped to be 4,150mAh. It will sport a dual camera at the back and should have a design similar to that of OnePlus 6T.

The phone is expected to be launched in three gradient colour options – Black Purple, Black Yellow, and Cyan Grey. Both the variants are expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor which was also present on the OnePlus 6T. Amid the reports that the phone might get wireless charging, Lau had said that it is inferior to OnePlus (Dash) charging. This means that OnePlus is likely to come with wire charging.
