Vivo Y73 India launch set for JUNE 10! Check specifications, expected price and more

The Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its new upcoming smartphone in India, According to the company, the Vivo Y73 is set to launch in India on June 10 at 12 pm during the live virtual event. Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan will promote upcoming Vivo Y-Series smartphones, starting from Y73 and will be seen across the marketing campaign for the devices, the company said.

To add more style to the launch of Y73, Sara Ali Khan would also be doing a special unboxing on 10th June, unveiling the stylish Y73. The company took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and announced the news. The tweet comes with an image showing the back panel of the phone featuring a triple rear camera setup. Besides this, no other details have been officially shared.

The company wrote on Twitter: "Ready to flaunt your unique style?​.The super-stylish #vivoY73 is launching on 10th June at 12 PM.​ Know More: http://bit.ly/34VQFBp #ItsMyStyle." Vivo has already shared the design of the phone and all of its specifications have purportedly leaked in the last few weeks

The Vivo Y73 will come with a triple rear camera setup and two colour options. It will sport a notch for the selfie camera, which is to be expected from a budget-friendly phone such as the Vivo Y73. According to the leaks, several reports hinted that this upcoming smartphone might carry the price tag between Rs 10,000-15,000. However, this is just a speculation, Readers are advised to wait for the official launch.

According to a report from 91mobiles, Vivo Y73 2021 will ship with a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, complete with HDR10 certification. A MediaTek Helio G95 SoC powers the smartphone, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

At the back, Vivo Y73 will come with a 64MP primary sensor coupled with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP module handles selfies and video calls. The smartphone will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Vivo has thrown in an under-display fingerprint sensor, too, the report said.
