Vivo X90 Series: After unveiling the Vivo X90 series in China, the smartphone maker is now planning to launch its latest series globally. Launched in November 2022 in China, the Vivo X90 series has three smartphones - Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro+. As people continue to speculate about features and launch date, some of these details have leaked online.
Vivo X90 Series Launch Date
According to a report, leaked information reveals that the company will be announcing the X90 series globally on February 3. Reports also suggest that the lineup will be available for pre-order between January 27 and February 2.
Vivo X90 Series Leaked Specifications
According to leaked information, Vivo X90 and Vivo 90 Pro are likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset instead of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Reports are suggesting that the company is not planning to launch Vivo X90 Pro Plus in the global market, at least for now.
Both X90 and X90 Pro are likely to have a 6.78-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and have an IPX4 rating - which means resistant to water splashes from any direction.
The devices are expected to have Android 12 out of the box and 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM.
Vivo X90 will have a triple camera setup with 50MP primary sensor backed by a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP portrait sensor. On the other end, the Vivo X90 Pro sports a 50MP primary camera accompanied by a 50MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
These phones will go on sale on February 2 in Malaysia and will be available at Rs 69,221 and Rs 99,162 approx. The price of these devices in India is not available right now.
