Vivo V40e launched at starting price of Rs 28,999 - Check features, specs and other details

Vivo has added one more device to its V series - the Vivo V40e. According to the company, this is India’s slimmest smartphone in the 5500mAh battery category.

Vivo V40e Variants and Price

The V40e will be available in two colour variants – Royal Bronze and Mint Green. It will be priced at Rs 28,999 (inclusive of taxes) for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 30,999 (inclusive of taxes) for the 8GB+256GB variant.

Vivo V40e Features and Specs

The Vivo V40e is just 0.749cm thick and comes with a 3D Curved Display. The smartphone is equipped with a dual camera setup – featuring a 50MP OIS Main Camera powered by a Sony IMX882 sensor and an 8MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera. The phone’s wide-angle camera has a 116° field of view.

For those who love to click selfies, the smartphone boasts a 50MP Eye-AF Group Selfie Camera with a 92° wide-angle field-of-view. "It has the highest pixel count for a front camera in its segment, delivering exceptionally crisp images," the company said.

Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, while the rear camera gets an Ultra-stable 4K video recording capability with a combination of OIS+EIS working in tandem to deliver stable videos and enhanced post-production editing ability. 

The vivo V40e is powered by the recently launched MediaTek Dimensity 7300 (4nm) Processor. The phone packs a 5500mAh battery complemented by an 80W Flashcharge for uninterrupted usage.

The V40e features a 120Hz high refresh rate 17.206cm (6.77-inch) curved display with a high 93.3 per cent screen-to-body ratio. 

The smartphone gets an IP64 Dust and Water Resistance along with Wet Touch technology.
