This big Apple iPhone 9 feature revealed accidentally; Android set to get wake-up call

US technology company Apple Inc is expected to unveil three new iPhone models this September, and it could have just accidentally revealed a new feature early, said a UK Mirror report, adding that Tech wizards dug into the code of the latest iOS 12 beta 5 to ascertain references to the new iPhone feature. 
 
The new iPhone is expected to come with dual SIM support, in a first for Apple. Android phones have come with multiple SIM support for quite some time. In Asian continent, this is a popular feature and Apple is rumoured to be targeting this region for its new iPhones, the report said.
 
Notably, some of Asian nations have far cheaper rates to call, text and surf on the varying networks, therefore, having multiple networks on a device is reportedly a money-saving advantage.
 
The Mirror report stated that another popular feature in Asia is a large screen, which makes screen writing of Asian lettering easier. Apple is therefore rumoured to be unveiling its largest iPhone yet in the 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus. The Asian market also expects low prices for new Apple iPhones. 
 
Apple is likely to release an affordable iPhone X style model in the form of a 6.1-inch LCD 2018 iPhone, if we believe rumours, said the report, adding that two SIM trays are also expected, suggesting the new iPhone will come with two physical SIMs as opposed to one physical SIM and an eSIM.
