TCL to launch its 8K and 4K QLED Android TV series in June with 120Hz refresh rate

And, a number of brands will be fighting to get a piece of the action. Realme has announced that it will launch its first ever smart TV in India on May 25 and TCL is also set to unveil its new line-up of 8K and 4K QLED AI Android TV series in June.
The 2020 QLED range features quantum dot display technology (QLED panel), Motion Estimate and Motion Compensation (MEMC), Dolby Vision HDR and IMAX enhanced.
The quantum dot display technology is designed to offer an immersive viewing experience to users with rich & vibrant colours and 3D-like depth. MEMC, on the other hand, ensures that the device delivers precise, clear and stable picture quality without motion blur at 120HZ screen refresh rate.
Both the technologies combined claim to improve your viewing experience, especially while watching movies.

The flagship TVs will come equipped with a pop-up camera, which will enable users to enjoy crystal clear video calls on a large screen. It also sports an external soundbar, designed by Onkyo, which supports Dolby Atmos for premium audio output and theatre-like sound delivery.
As the demand for state-of-the-art technologies continues to rise in consumer electronics, the launch of TCL 8K & 4K QLED AI Android TV range in India promises to intensify the competition in the smart TV segment.
Recently, the company has also reaffirmed its strong support towards the ‘Make in India’ initiative. TCL’s first manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh (AP), started its construction on December 22, 2019, is also the largest manufacturing facility outside China. With an investment of Rs 2400 Crores, the unit has a production capacity of 8 million (22-55 inches) TV screens and 30 million (3.5-8 inches) mobile screens, annually.
