WABetaInfo in its latest tweet said, "Good news: you can now install WhatsApp on your Android tablet directly from the Play Store (ONLY IF YOU'RE A BETA TESTER — 2.18.367)! It wasn’t possible in the past and it was necessary to download the APK separately."

The new update was recently rolled out to WhatsApp beta users which will also add support to Android Tablets. However, there is a catch! The app is restricted to beta users and has limited features right now, but several missing features are expected to be added soon.

Those who wish to try WhatsApp on their tablet, they just need to be a beta tester and have a spare secondary number as they can’t use the same number on two different devices.

Notably, only tablets with SIM support are eligible right now, but if you have a tablet that doesn’t support a SIM card then you won’t be able to use it.

WhatsApp has surprised its users with introduction of several changes this year. It introduced stickers, group video calling and many more changes. There is one highly anticipated feature that WhatsApp fans are eagerly awaiting is related to Dark Mode setting.

WABetaInfo recently tweeted that the dark mode is in development right now, but did not clearly state what the release date may be.
